In conversation with Leonard Neumann
Lifelong Leica enthusiast Leonard (‘Lennie’) Neumann has spent over fiffty years observing and photographing everyday life in South Africa, the United States, France and England. During that time he has admired the work of many photographers, both famous and relatively unknown, but at the same time he has adopted a distinctive personal style. His work has featured in numerous exhibitions held in many countries.

Colin O’Brien took his first photographs of daily life in post-war London in 1948: he hasn’t stopped since. Still an enthusiastic and very active photographer, his latest book, London Life, contains an extensive collection of photographs taken over almost seventy years.
